2020 Seat Belt Survey Report

Atelior, LLC conducted a comprehensive seat-belt usage study in the State of Colorado from July 26 to Aug. 8, 2020. Trained observers collected data at 770 sites in 31 counties. A total of 119,842 vehicles were observed, including cars, vans, sports utility vehicles (SUVs), pickup trucks, and select commercial vehicles (10,000 pounds and under). Drivers and front seat outboard passengers of the eligible vehicles were observed for seat-belt usage at predetermined observation sites throughout the state
